Hi, I’m Ms Katrina. This story is about being smart. A little old woman lives in a shoe with her children. But the shoe is a giant’s shoe. The giant looks for his shoe. How can they stop the giant?

The Old Woman and the Shoe

A little old woman has many children. She lives near the forest. She doesn’t have much money. She is sad. The children try to make her happy.

One day, a big and tall giant comes to the forest. He sees their house. He steps on their house. And he takes away the little old woman’s husband.

The little old woman looks for her husband. She goes into the forest. In the forest she finds a shoe. It’s a big shoe.

The children and the little old woman don’t have a house. They go to live in the shoe.

Then the children go to look for their father. They look near and far. They go to the castle.

At the castle they see a dragon. They fight the dragon and run into the castle. They see their father in the castle and take him back home to the shoe. Everyone is happy.

Then one day, they hear a noise. It’s the noise of a giant. The giant steps on the trees and the flowers. The giant says, “Where is my shoe?”

Oh no, the giant looks for his shoe! The little old woman puts glue on the shoe so the shoe is stuck in the forest.

Then the family hides in the forest. They see the giant step into the shoe. But then he can’t walk. The shoe is stuck in the forest. The giant falls over.

Then the little old woman and her family run away. They make a new house. And they never see the giant again. The end.

In the story, the little old woman and her family go to live in a shoe. Then the giant looks for his shoe. The little old woman puts glue on the shoe so it’s stuck in the forest. Then the giant falls down. The little old woman is smart.
